Spring 2024 Research Symposium

The UT Public Health Coalition Spring 2024 Research Symposium

Thank you to everyone who made the UT PHC Spring 2024 Research Symposium possible! The symposium was held on April 1st, 2024 from 8:30AM to 4PM in the Health Discovery Building (Dell Medical) at UT Austin. This in-person research symposium aimed to unite a varied assembly of public health experts across UT to explore and share the latest research developments and prospects in the field of Public Health, while also providing a platform for networking among individuals from different parts of UT. Through interactive discussions and networking break-out groups, our objective was to collectively explore the question:

“What is the future for Public Health at UT?”

The ongoing symposium’s agenda comprised more than 20 research presentations, divided into morning and afternoon sessions. During lunchtime, attendees had the opportunity to mingle, network, and peruse poster presentations by students and researchers.

We were delighted by the turnout at our inaugural symposium, with more than 60 participants joining us for this in-person event.

Thank you to all of our speakers, faulty, and students who made this event possible!
